Frequently Asked Questions

What is powdered coal? What is Brass Charcoal? You can find the prices of powdered coal and the differences between them and brass coal in detail in our article below.

WHAT IS COAL POWDER

Powder coal is the form of coal extracted from underground as a whole (as a whole), which is sieved with a sieving machine and transformed into dimensions between 0 and 12 mm. Powder coal is sold in the market in 0.5-10 mm size. 95% of this coal is used by factories for steam in order to obtain high temperature. Today, most of the mine producers wash these coals in a special washing pool, clean the dirty wastes (clay, soil, stone, etc.) and turn them into pure enriched coal. Later, this enriched coal is finally dried in the drying facility and the moisture content is reduced and it provides high calorie. As fuel, the rate of use is much higher in fluidized bed type boilers.

WHAT IS BRASS COAL?

Brass coal, just like powder coal, is obtained by transforming the coal extracted from underground into sizes between 5-12 mm. 70% of the rice coal is used by factories for steam, 20% for poultry farms and 10% for domestic heating. This coal is washed in the washing facility and enriched by separating the dirty wastes in it. Then, according to the demand, the coal is dried and high calorie is obtained and sold. Some factories only buy and use washed rice as coal because they get more efficiency in just washed state. Industrial establishments burning this coal generally use it in stoker boiler types.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PULVERIZED COAL AND BRASS COAL?

There is only a size difference between the two coals. Powder coal is in the size range of 0-12 mm, and brass coal is in the size range of 5-12 mm. As a fuel, rice coal burns more efficiently because its grain size is larger and its price is more expensive. Factories burning powdered coal generally prefer companies using fluidized bed boilers. Factories burning rice coal generally use the stoker boiler type.

HOW MUCH ARE POWDER COAL PRICES?

Powder coal prices vary depending on the calorie, humidity, ash content and enriched coal status. Under-sieve, that is, coals only between 0-12 mm in size, their prices are lower because they are only screening cost. If washed and dried coal, which is among our other products, is preferred, its prices increase because of its cost. Firms can choose any of these 2 types of coal according to their calorie preference. We have 4 types of coal starting from 150 TL and reaching up to 300 TL depending on the calorific value. You can make a price offer according to your calorie and type preference from the contact section of our website.
